Maintenance Programme Engineer

Icelandair Technical Engineering is seeking a Maintenance Programme Engineer to join our team. The individual will be an integral part of the Maintenance Programme Team and be responsible for maintaining our Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP) up to date and standard. The individual will work closely with the AMP team and other specialists within Technical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Create or update AMP for Icelandair Boeing & Airbus fleet as per EASA Easy Access Rules and Icelandair internal procedures.
• Create or edit scheduled maintenance tasks in Maintenix as per in-house instructions and update the applicable AMP accordingly.
• Perform annual review of the programs in co-work with Reliability Dep. & Technical Library as well as Engineering & Powerplant departments.
• Liaison with various departments within Icelandair CAMO as well as Icelandair Maintenance Organisation (IMO) Part-145 as needed.
• Establish and create bridging summary and check information when new or used aircraft are accepted into Icelandair operation.
• Review, accept and finalize various requests related to Aircraft Maintenance Program that are raised via Icelandair Jira CAMO service desk.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Engineering or a valid P66 license.
• Experience in continuing airworthiness management mandatory.
• Great organizational skills, easy to take on responsibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge/Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
• Independent, disciplined, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Knowledge in Part-M/Part-CAMO EASA regulation.
• Strong computer skills: experience and proficiency in Maintenix maintenance system is an advantage.
• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong safety awareness.
