The Reykjavik EDITION brings the first 5-star modern luxury experience to one of the world’s greenest, cleanest and safest capitals. Located in the heart of Reykjavik by Old Harbor port, the hotel is few steps away from Harpa Conference center and Laugavegur Street. The Reykjavik EDITION features 253 guest rooms including 27 suites with iconic views of mountains and the ocean. The hotel’s design includes 2 restaurants, a rooftop venue overlooking Reykjavik.  The Reykjavik EDITION will feature a signature cocktail bar, custom designed spa with 3 treatment rooms, state-of-the-art-gym and 552 sqm of event space with a ballroom, board room and 3 meeting studios.

We are searching for a passionate Employee Experience Manager to join the team. As Employee Experience Manager you will embody the brand’s ethos with your own individual style and sophistication and assist the Director of Employee Experience to develop and execute strategies that aim to attract, retain, and develop Talent within the hotel.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð
  • Be an ambassador for the EDITION brand’s ETHOS, Core Values and Ideals.
  • Assist with the hiring and recruiting process 
  • Drive employee engagement strategy and employee communication channels on property
  • Manage talent planning and development initiatives
  • Partner with and support management on delivering robust policies and procedures to support hotel operations
  • Manage legal and compliance practices and oversee HR administration
  • Oversees time and attendance system 
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Service oriented– hands on and happy to help out
  • Deep knowledge of the Icelandic union agreements especially VR, Efling and Matvís
  • Experience in working with MyTimePlan and Kjarni is considered an advantage
  • Shows initiative and drive
  • Ability to adapt communication styles and influence
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple work assignments and shows flexibility
  • Knowledge of and experience working with local union agreements
  • HR qualification is preferred
  • Fluent English and Icelandic written and verbal skills required
