Aptoz er fyrirtæki sem vinnur við vottun á breytingum og viðgerðum á flugvélum. Aptoz hefur leyfi frá Evrópsku Flugöryggisstofnuninni. Hjá Aptoz og systurfyritæki starfa 15 manns. Aptoz is a European Aviation Safety Agency Design Organisation and Flight Test Organisation. We design and certify installation of various equipment on commercial aircraft. Avionics Design Engineer

We are looking to add an Avionics Design Engineer to our team working to design and certify upgrades of avionics and electrical systems of Airbus and Boeing aircraft for our customers.

Aircraft experience is a plus but not a must and we encourage students freshly graduated to apply. Aptoz will provide on the job training as well as specialized training.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Participate in projects involving installation of new cockpit instruments, passenger entertainment, connectivity and electrical systems.
Generate installation instructions and drawings for installers to follow.
Analysis of design and certification requirments and generate compliance reports.
Communication with customers, equipment manufacturers and vendors.
