Software Engineer – Full-Stack

As a software engineer at Parka, you’ll be part of a strong technical team working on scalable, cloud-native systems that are already in production and evolving rapidly as we expand into new markets.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Designing, building, and maintaining backend services using Python and Django
Developing cloud-based solutions in AWS, including serverless components
Building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
Developing and maintaining frontend applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or Angular
Working with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap-based interfaces where appropriate
Collaborating closely with other engineers and the rest of the comapny
Helping scale systems to support growing usage across multiple markets
Contributing to system reliability, performance, and overall code quality

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Experience working in AWS environments
Strong experience with Python development
Experience operating backend systems in Django or similar frameworks
Experience building user-facing web applications with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue, Angular, or similar)
Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Familiarity with Linux-based environments
Independent working style with strong problem-solving skills
Relevant university degree is a plus
