Agile Coach
Marel is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join the Technical Center in Iceland. The person should have a very good understanding of Scrum, Kanban and other Agile frameworks and practices. As an Agile Coach, you will play a key role in supporting continuous improvements.
The Technical Center is part of Innovation and its main role is to develop and maintain common technical platforms, provide technical expertise across industries and product groups for new product development and life cycle management.
As our Agile Coach your main tasks are:
- Coaching self-organized development teams
- Be able to identify and help the teams remove impediments
- Coach the team/s on goal setting and planning
- Visibility of progress
- Work with product management on release planning and roadmap work
- Facilitating Project Retrospectives, team kickoffs and other team based events
- Support change within the department
- Promote culture of Innovation, creativity, transparency, openness and trust
- Education of Agile Educating others on Agile
- Continuous improvements, research and share findings
Requirements:
- Worked successfully as a Scrum master with Scrum / Agile teams
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of iterative software development
- Knowledge of or experience with common Agile practices and related methodologies
- Be able to lead and serve the team
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
