EFTA is an intergovernmental organization committed to advancing free trade and economic integration among its four Member States: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. 
With offices in Geneva, Brussels, and Luxembourg, the EFTA Secretariat serves these states by facilitating policy development, negotiations, and implementation of free trade agreements.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation and organisation of texts to be published in the weekly EEA Supplement to the&nbsp;Official Journal of the European Union.
Such texts being legal, financial, scientific or of technical nature prepared in English ready for translation into Icelandic and Norwegian.
They will be the contact point between the EFTA Secretariat and the EFTA Surveillance Authority as well as the EFTA Court in coordinating translation of documents from the Authority and Court into Icelandic and Norwegian as well as all EU languages.
This implies close cooperation with the relevant services of the European Commission, as well as the other EEA institutions. The preparation of such publications includes proofreading.
