Haematology and Oncology outpatient department
Landspitali is seeking an experienced nurse to join the Outpatient department of Haematology and Oncology. The department is staffed by 30 employees providing outpatient services, each nurse accompanying their group of patients through various cancer treatments, where knowledge and experience are of immense value. Nurses work daytime hours but have the option of combining work at the outpatient and inpatient departments. Focused individualised training is provided and opportunities to develop knowledge with the support of experienced nurses.

Landspitali is seeking an emergency nurse to join the Emergency department. The Landspitali Emergency Department is Iceland's biggest emergency department, providing emergency care. We provide individualised training with emphasis on professional development. The work is carried out in shifts with 32-36 hour work per week.

The department combined two specialised wards: an 8-bed secure psychiatric ward providing specialised treatment and rehabilitation of patients with major psychiatric disorders, and an 8-bed forensic psychiatry ward providing specialised treatment and rehabilitation of patients with major psychiatric disorders who are unfit to plead. Emphasis is placed on good service to patients and their families, and on the safety of patients and staff. The work is carried out in shifts with 32-36 hour work per week.
