Destination Expert (Luxury Travel)

At Nordic Luxury, we don’t sell trips—we design once-in-a-lifetime experiences. As a Destination Expert, you’ll play a key role in shaping bespoke, high-end itineraries for discerning travelers from around the world.
You’ll join a highly skilled and collaborative sales team with deep destination knowledge across Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland, combining creativity, structure, and a genuine passion for great service.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering flawless, personalized travel experiences.
- Respond to inquiries and emails in a timely and professional manner, following company guidelines
- Design bespoke travel itineraries and prepare detailed quotations
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with agents throughout the planning process
- Handle financial aspects of bookings, including billing, invoicing, and commission documentation
- Support the team with additional tasks when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers
Essential Requirements
- Strong interest in travel and high-quality customer service
- Previous experience in the travel industry is highly preferred
- Well organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing several tasks at the same time
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Based in Iceland and eligible to work in Iceland (this is an in-office role)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a similar role, especially within travel or customer service
- Familiarity with travel logistics such as accommodation, transportation, and restaurant bookings
- Knowledge of Iceland and/or other Nordic destinations
- Experience using booking systems and digital communication tools
