Customer Support/Operations Specialist

Our Team

Nasdaq in Iceland operates Nasdaq Iceland, the Icelandic Stock Exchange, and Nasdaq CSD, a Central Securities Depository (CSD) for the Icelandic securities' market.

Our stock exchange team is responsible for cash equity and fixed income member sales and relations, listing effort in both equities and bonds, and issuer relations. In addition, we prepare statistics, and are involved in local and international projects within Nasdaq. Nasdaq CSD provides CSD services, including initial recording of securities, safekeeping and settlement of securities transactions. Main customers are financial firms (participants) and issuers of securities. We also lead or are involved in new revenue generating projects and strategic work within Nasdaq.

What will you be doing?

As a customer support and operations specialist, you will be an integrated part of Nasdaq’s team in Iceland, supporting both Nasdaq Iceland (four days per week) and Nasdaq CSD (one day per week). You will collaborate with employees in all areas of the business and provide support to the team, mainly in the following areas:

  • Market related research

  • Statistics

  • Administering listings and corporate actions

  • Billing verification

  • Daily services and communication with customers

  • Sales support

  • Project support

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or related fields

  • Good English and Icelandic language skills

It would be great if You also have

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good command of Excel and PowerPoint

This is a full-time permanent position located in Reykjavik. The company allows the flexibility to work half a week on-site and remotely (Hybrid model). As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible.
