Among these are the hotel’s signature restaurant Tides, a rooftop destination with scenic views, a vibrant lobby lounge, an intimate cocktail bar, Tides bakery and café, and a social spa.

The Reykjavík Edition is looking to hire a responsible and driven individual for the position of General Accountant.

The role requires precise work methods and skills in reconciliation and accounting. In addition, there is a strong emphasis on positive communication and cooperation.

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents following policies and procedures.
Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers.
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, and auditing reports and tables.
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
