

Technical Records Control Agent

Icelandair's Technical Records department is responsible for the operation and monitoring of the maintenance of Icelandair's aircraft fleet. The Technical Records department employs a strong group of professionals who deal with demanding and complex maintenance tasks and ensure that safety, reliability and high-quality work practices are the guiding principles.
Icelandair's Technical Records department is advertising for a person to review technical data and documentation (Technical Records Control Agent) in the Technical Planning & Control Department. The office is currently located in Icelandair's maintenance hangar at Keflavík Airport. The main tasks of the Technical Records Control Center include reviewing and entering technical data, as well as monitoring and following up on the maintenance centres that Icelandair works with.
The Technical Records Control Center follows up on heavy maintenance projects, both in Iceland and abroad. Great emphasis is placed on accuracy in work and competence in interpersonal communication.
This is a future job. Working hours are 7:30-15:30 Mon-Fri.
Area of responsibility:
- Receive, review, verify organize & file Continuing Airworthiness Records
- Update and perform corrections in maintenance computer system
- Verify correct CRS date and time on Work Packs in computer system and hard copy.
- Receive and scan heavy maintenance checks from outstations into Flydocs.
- Receive documentation (readout task) with all current parts and serial numbers for fan blades, annulus fillers, and oxygen generators compare to maintenance system.
- Participation in various projects as directed by Supervisor or Manager Technical Planning and Control.
- Monitoring and review of information in Icelandair's maintenance system.
- Communication of information inside and outside the company as well as other occasional tasks.
Qualifications and Education:
- High School Education (or equivalent) or two years of relevant Technical Records experience.
- Ability to handle multiple daily duties/priorities; function under deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Previous experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with complex details and high attention to detail.
- Good analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English.
- Good communication skills and a strong customer service attitude.
- Accurate and independent working methods.
