We're looking for a person that is passionate about ‘automating everything’, scale, performance, security, and clean code. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you are a part of a team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, applications, and services. The team drives best practices, provides cloud support, guidance, and recommendations to software development teams.
You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to create a coherent design, implementation and maintenance of tools and processes for continuous exploration, integration, and deployment of software. Empowering engineers with tools and knowledge they need as members of diverse product development teams. Projects will include writing infrastructure as code, DevOps pipelines and supporting teams migrating to Kubernetes.

Your responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure
- Determine user requirements for cloud-based applications and services
- Create architecture diagrams and develop automation scripts
- Deploying new applications to the cloud and migrating existing ones
- Monitor the performance systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance
- Design and maintain operating system backup solutions for system recovery and disaster recovery
- Be a technical expert to help internal customers & teams to consume standard cloud services
Qualifications/Desired skills:
- Education that is applicable for this role or experience in related field
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Familiar with programming languages such as Bicep, Python, and C#
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Licensing or certifications for cloud infrastructure engineer is beneficial
- A solution minded and outgoing person
- Self-directed, has sense of urgency, sees priorities and takes initiative
- Passionate about automation, scale, performance, security, and clean code
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
