User Acquisition Specialist

CCP Games is looking for a User Acquisition Specialist to join our Marketing Growth team in the Reykjavík studio!

As part of the Marketing Growth team, the User Acquisition Specialist supports the execution and optimization of paid marketing campaigns that bring new players into our games and re-engage existing ones. Working closely with Marketing, Analytics, and Product teams, you’ll help ensure our campaigns are data-driven, efficient, and continuously improving.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, execution, and day-to-day management of user acquisition and reactivation campaigns across paid channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with optimization to improve key metrics such as CPI, CPA, ROAS, and retention.
  • Prepare performance reports and summarize insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in running experiments and implementing improvements across audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and channels.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to improve campaign efficiency, creative testing, reporting workflows, and insight generation.
  • Work with Analytics to ensure accurate tracking and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to align campaigns with game updates and business priorities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and emerging AI capabilities in marketing technology.

Your Profile:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or user acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ad platform (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, Reddit, X, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of attribution, tracking, and campaign measurement principles.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable working with performance data, Excel spreadsheets, key marketing metrics (CPI, CPA, ROAS, retention) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Growth mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented approach to testing, learning and performance optimization.
  • Clear and effective communicator who can build strong working relationships across teams and translate data insights for different audiences (creative, product, analytics, leadership).
  • Experience in gaming, product-led SaaS or mobile app marketing is a plus.
