Shift Manager / Vaktstjóri
We are looking for a motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our reception team in Keflavík. As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the reception, leading the front-desk team, and providing top-quality service to our international customers arriving at Keflavík Airport.
This position follows a 2-2-3 shift schedule, working from 07:00–19:00.

Oversee reception operations during your shift, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.

Supervise and support front-desk staff, providing guidance and problem-solving when needed.

Manage customer check-ins, check-outs, and handle escalations in a professional manner.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.

Coordinate with other departments (fleet, maintenance, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.

Monitor performance and provide feedback to improve team productivity and customer satisfaction.

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably in hospitality, car rental, or customer service.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in English (Icelandic and other languages are a plus).
