Marketing Research Intern

CCP Games is looking for a Player Research Intern with a passion for data organization and research to join the Publishing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on shaping the foundations of our player research processes, supporting data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the player experience.

As a Player Research Intern, you will work closely with Player Research and our Data teams to create surveys and organize, analyze, and improve our research processes. This role is ideal for someone with a background in anthropology, social sciences, or data gathering, who enjoys taking initiative and bringing creative ideas to the table.

The internship is a temporary full-time role for 6 months.

Your Tasks:

Data Management:

  • Export, organize, and consolidate all previous player surveys into a structured repository, working closely with the Player Research team.
  • Design and implement a repository for current and historical player research data, aligned with broader data management practices at CCP, in collaboration with the Marketing Services and Data & Analytics team as needed.

Process improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, organization, and usage processes.
  • Propose and implement ideas to improve player research workflows.

Collaboration:

  • Assist in the creation, distribution, and analysis of player research surveys as part of our new research framework.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure research data aligns with broader company objectives.

Your Profile:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Anthropology, Social Sciences, Data Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest or experience in data collection, organization, and analysis.
  • Experience with survey tools such as SurveyMonkey, Alchemer or similar platforms is required. Familiarity with advanced tools like Qualtrics, data analysis software or usability testing methods is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Located in Iceland.
