Main tasks and responsibilities

Your Role📊

As a Facility Coordinator, you'll take on diverse tasks and become a key player for both Four FM and our client. As Four FM's on-site representative, you'll build and nurture positive relationships within our client's organization and with our customers, partners, and suppliers. You'll thrive in international environments, tackle challenges with a proactive "can-do" attitude, and adapt seamlessly to various situations.

Examples of your core responsibilities:

  • Budget and Supplies Management: Assist with budget planning, office supply purchases, and work order coordination.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficient functioning of the general office environment.
  • Event Coordination: Organize internal events, including setting up furniture and food.
  • Employee Support: Help manage the food and beverage program and assist with employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Space Planning: Coordinate space planning, support moves, and update floor plans in collaboration with IT.
  • Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary contact for vendors, resolving facilities issues and ensuring smooth site services.
  • Operations and Emergencies: Maintain office operations, handle emergency procedures, and respond promptly to maintenance requests

As a collaborative team player, you openly share knowledge, provide support to colleagues, and actively seek assistance or information when necessary.

Educational and skill requirements

Qualifications ✔

  • Previous work experience in Facility Management or other relevent fields such as workplace coordination, office administration, operational support, or vendor management.
  • Fluent communication in both Icelandic and English.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
