Air Atlanta var stofnað árið 1986 og hefur verið í rekstri allar götur síðan. Félagið rekur fjórtán breiðþotur af gerðinni Boeing 747-400. Höfuðstöðvar félagsins eru staðsettar á Íslandi en flugrekstur á sér stað víða um heiminn. Félagið sérhæfir sig í leigu á flugvélum ásamt áhöfnum til annara flugfélaga og gætir þess að flugleiðir viðskiptavina okkar séu starfræktar á öruggan og hagkvæman hátt.

Manager Engineering

Air Atlanta Icelandic is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to lead the Engineering team and play an important role in maintenance activities of the Company.

We look for an ambitious and a hard working individual who will administer the daily operation.

Manager Engineering reports to Director Engineering & Planning.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Manager Engineering is responsible for the day to day operation of the Engineering department and oversees technical aspects of repair data, reliability analysis, maintenance programs and airworthiness data review. The main duties include program bridging, repairs and modifications of new aircraft in the Company´s fleet.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Hold maintenance technician license or engineering degree
Have at least three years maintenance experience with an air carrier or certified repair station
Hold good knowledge of EASA rules and regulations, Part-145, Part CAMO and Part-21.
Be fluent in written and spoken English
Have excellent sense of initiative and positive mindset
Have experience in operating computer programs and data analyzes
Hold Icelandic work permit
