Social Media Content Creator
We're seeking a Social Media Content Creator with excellent English skills to join our Marketing team in Reykjavik, Iceland. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating stunning visual content for social media that tells the company’s story, elevates our brand, and captivates our audience across the different social media channels.
- Take ownership of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram content for Arctic Adventures and other brands of the group;
- Create engaging, authentic, and on-brand videos & pictures for social media that showcase Iceland’s nature, tours, and the spirit of adventure;
- Spot social trends and translate them into creative opportunities for our platforms;
- Collaborate with the Community & Social Media Manager to align content with the wider brand strategy and calendar;
- Partnering with cross-functional teams— marketing, product managers, stakeholders—to bring ideas to life;
- Join tours and experiences to document the adventure first-hand;
- Working with different Arctic Adventures products and brands;
- Experiment with different formats and storytelling styles to drive engagement
- Strong skills in filming, editing, and mobile-first content
- A natural storyteller with an eye for what works on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Confident on camera (and capturing others in action).
- Passionate about travel, nature, and adventure – ideally with experience creating outdoors or lifestyle content.
- Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple content projects.
- Fluent in English; Icelandic is a plus.
- Full-time position in Reykjavik.
