

Project Procurement Manager Iceland

As part of our continued growth in Iceland, we are seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team.
The ideal candidate thrives in complex project environments, combines strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach, and excels at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
In this key role, you will lead procurement activities for major construction and infrastructure projects, working closely with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in Iceland. You will manage the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing strategy and tendering through contract negotiation and execution.

- Lead end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes for construction and infrastructure projects in Iceland
- Prepare tender documentation, manage clarifications, and evaluate bids
- Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors, consultants, and key suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and procurement best practices
- Support project teams during planning, procurement, and execution phases
- Conduct supplier and site meetings across Iceland
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, cost management, and procurement teams
- Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes, templates, and documentation
- Support contract administration, reporting, and supplier performance management
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, or supply chain management
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial, or data center projects is desirable
- Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of Icelandic construction practices and supplier markets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills in both Icelandic and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
