Production Supervisor (Kitchen Supervisor)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Supervisors (Kitchen Supervisors) are responsible for the effective delivery of prepared items from the facility, ready for delivery. Their duties include supervising and guiding the employees in the production areas during a scheduled shift (cold kitchen, plating, tray set up, sandwich area, etc). Supervisors work closely with Team Leaders in each of these areas to ensure that production is on time and producing food in a safe way. You will be promoting a collaborative, client focused, quality and result-oriented approach whilst focusing on driving value and performance from new and existing team members, with constant attention to the strategic goals of Newrest. As a leader, you will mentor, train, and empower the kitchen staff and their teams across our production department. Tasks :

• Supervise employees
• Plan, schedule, and steer each shift
• Ensure quality and service are up to standard
• Ensure on time performance targets are met
• Other ad hoc projects

Skills and Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and rich service mentality
• Minimum age requirement 20 years old
• Organizational and supervision skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Initiative and desire to work for improvement
• Clean criminal record
• Fully competent in MS Office
• Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer centred approach to service delivery
• Good team working skills
• Sign and Adhere to Newrest Code of Conduct

GENERAL:

• Coordinate with other departments such as Winrest, Transport, Supply, and Pick n Pack.
• Any other reasonable task that may be required by management
