Electrician

Team member in the assembly of scales and electrical equipment - ​​Electricians and electronic engineers

JBT Marel is looking for a dynamic team member to work on the assembly of a variety of weighing and electrical equipment. We work in independent teams consisting of 10-20 individuals of all ages and genders, and they are collectively responsible for completing the production of each product. All new employees receive training. We offer, among other things, a first-class working environment, family-friendly working hours, an excellent cafeteria with hot food for lunch and fitness facilities. The job includes:

· Assembly of scales and various electrical equipment (e.g. industrial computers, sensors and display units)

· Tension setting and quality inspection

· Software installation, configuration and testing, as well as preparation for export

Qualification requirements:

· A journeyman's degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering (or solid experience in the field)

· Good command of Icelandic in spoken and written form is a requirement

· Good written English skills

· Very good computer skills and interest in technological development

· Good communication skills and interest in teamwork

· Good safety awareness, conscientiousness and ambition

· Positivity, general joy of life and solution-oriented thinking

· Interest in improvement work (continuous improvement)
