JBT Marel is looking for a dynamic team member to work in electric welding and assembly of a variety of equipment.

We work in independent teams of 10-20 people of all ages and genders, who are collectively responsible for completing the production of each product. All new employees receive training. JBT Marel's manufacturing facility in Garðabær specializes in supporting product development and manufacturing of custom-designed projects for our customers.

The job includes:

Stainless steel construction

· Assembly of tools and equipment

· Possibility of travel related to equipment installation

Qualification requirements:

· Strong interest in electric welding (TIG)

· Journeyman's certificate or solid experience in metalworking

· Good command of Icelandic in spoken and written form

· Computer literacy and interest in technological developments in the industry

· Good communication skills and interest in teamwork

· Conscientiousness, ambition and good safety awareness

· Positivity, joy of life and solution-oriented thinking

· Interest in improvement work (continuous improvement)

· Eager to grow and learn
