Biotechnologist in Manufacturing (Shift Work)

Overview of Role

Join the Manufacturing Team at Alvotech in Reykjavik. We're seeking individuals who are proactive, embrace challenges, and have a positive mindset. The role requires extensive training, and Alvotech prioritizes teaching, mentoring, and guiding the manufacturing biotechnologists. Working in day/evening/night shifts is required.

Scope and Responsibility

• An introduction and extensive training in manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products.
• The biotechnologist in manufacturing will execute daily tasks and maintain strict accordance with written instructions during processing of drug substance within the manufacturing clean rooms.
• The biotechnologist will get practical introduction and perform operations on manufacturing equipment, such as biosafety cabinets, bioreactors, chromatography systems, filtration equipment, single-use systems, sterile tube welders, tube sealers and in-process lab instruments.

Job Requirements

• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and willingness to learn are desired attributes.
• Proficient English skills are a requirement (Icelandic is not required).
• Ability to work in shifts (Morning/Evening/Night).
