Overview of Role

Join the Drug Substance Operations Team at Alvotech in Reykjavik and be a part of a dynamic, highly regulated environment where attention to detail and thoroughness are key. The role requires extensive training, and Alvotech prioritizes teaching, mentoring, and guiding its technicians. Working in day/evening/night shifts is required.

Scope and Responsibility

• Perform GMP activities in Grade CNC, D and C areas.
• Serving as an expert on written procedures and cGMP documents.
• Take ownership of deviations: lead and coordinate investigations as required, to help identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions.
• Proactively ensure the DS suite and equipment is maintained in a state of Inspection readiness at all times.
• Mentoring and coaching new team members.
• Collaborating with other departments.
• Continually identify process improvement to help create and maintain a lean, flexible and agile manufacturing facility.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience operating Drug Substance processing equipment.
• Experience of cell culture principles, techniques, scale up, technology transfer and process validation activities.
• Proven experience of coaching and mentoring others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
