

Diverse Role close to Akureyri
A small family-run accommodation business in Eyjafjörður is looking for a positive and independent couple (or duo) to join our team and become an important part of our daily operations.
Responsibilities
This is a varied and hands-on position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning, preparing, and presenting our accommodation to the highest standard.

Laundry and linen management.

Welcoming and assisting guests when needed.

Communicating with guests via email, phone, and various platforms before, during, and after their stay.

General property maintenance and outdoor work, including snow removal in winter and gardening during summer.

Carrying out minor repairs and coordinating with contractors when necessary.

Restocking supplies and ensuring each home is guest-ready.

Assisting with maintenance projects and the preparation of new accommodation units during the quieter season.

Other tasks related to the daily operation of the business.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals who:

Have excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Work independently, are organized, and take initiative.

Are reliable, flexible, and enjoy a varied workload that changes with the seasons.

Take ownership of their work and have a strong eye for detail.
-
Speak English confidently (additional languages are an advantage).

Hold a valid driver's license.
Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, or property management is an advantage, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are equally important.
