Data Analyst - Power BI Specialist

Controlant is looking for a passionate Microsoft Power BI Specialist that will design and implement business intelligence reports and dashboards. We are looking for a stellar data visualization expert with passion for creating meaningful dashboards that improve business insights.
Responsibilities
- Data modelling, analysis and visualization
- Using database query languages to retrieve and manipulate information
- Perform data filtering, cleaning and transformation
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools such as paginated reports
- Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or another related field
- Several years of professional experience in data visualization, utilizing tools and systems on the MS SQL Server BI Stack
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Power Query and DAX
- Good understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design and multidimensional model design
- Curiosity and drive for finding creative solutions
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience
- Excellent written and spoken English
Good to have
- Having worked in multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization
- Experience maintaining and developing with SaaS applications at scale
- Having worked in a regulated environment such as pharma
