What is your mission?
You will be joining the Commercial Partnerships team in Iceland. We are a team focused on SaltPay's new businesses. We are driving product and services that bring our vision to life and empower our customers to succeed.
We’re looking for a product owner that is an extremely capable person, enthusiastic about the product, and is genuinely excited about the idea of delivering the best version of the product onto the market. The product owner is the person that we rely on to choose the best pilot merchants, to feed the learnings, to know the inside-out of the product, and to pioneer the path for the other field agents. The product owner is our go-to person for the local product-market-fit feedback during the pilot phase. We are looking for someone focused and detail-oriented, that has some technical skills, is eager to get down into our new functionalities to make the best possible experience for our customers.
You’ll define and own our product roadmap and bring it to the market to add value for our merchants. In other words, you’ll be:
- Actively seeking out customer needs & pain points and gather product requirements.
- Creating and managing product strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
- Responsible for projects and their management in Iceland.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders during the ideation and discovery phases to assess value, scope of effort, usability, and priority of features.
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for related queries, with deep understanding of the technical side.
What is your story?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Management, Finance, Economics, or other technical related area.
- Fluent Icelandic and English, written and verbal.
- Experience related to product development.
- Passionate about building great user experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of agile product delivery.
- Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies.
- Experience working beyond your own team to help drive standards alongside other teams and central functions.
