Finance and Accounting Manager
Newrest Group, one of the world's leading companies in the operation of flight kitchens, is taking over the operation of Icelandair's flight kitchen. Newrest handles, among other things, the production of meals on board Icelandair, SAS, Delta, United Airlines and Air Canada flights.
We are currently seeking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team in Iceland.
Reporting to the Country Manager, you will have full responsibility for the financial department in your area.

MISSIONS:
- Ensure the implementation of the strategy and general policy of the Newrest Group.
- Supervise and train the local administrative team (finance-accounting, human resources, and taxation).
- Ensure the production of the company accounts, the subsidiary's payroll, and guarantee compliance with local accounting, tax, and social obligations.
- Implement and monitor group standards and procedures within the subsidiary.
- Develop the budget and lead budget control (forecasting, monitoring, analysis of deviations, and proposals for corrective actions).
- Monitor all "Corporate" operations:
-Holding of Board of Directors and general meetings.
-Powers and delegations of powers.
- Maintain relations with the supervisory authorities.
- Prepare monthly reporting.
- Manage cash flow in close collaboration with banking organizations and the group.
- Lead the relationship with third parties, customers, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure and monitor social dialogue with staff representatives and ensure compliance with existing social legislation.
- Manage the relationship with social organizations, the labor inspector, and occupational medicine.
- Ensure legal and social monitoring.
- Ensure daily relations with the company's headquarters and be able to provide ad hoc analyses on request.

PROFILE:
- Finance Master Degree
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- A first international experience will be very appreciated
- English required, Basic Icelandic (Level 2)
- Multi-cultural teams management
