

Digital Solution Manager
Icelandair Digital Operations is looking for a highly motivated Digital Solution Manager to join our team. What you will be doing:
As a Solution Manager you will be the technical lead in a product team focusing on aviation operation.
· You will manage and optimize digital solutions that support Icelandair’s aviation operations. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless daily performance, driving improvements, and enhancing efficiency across digital platforms.
· Collaboration with stakeholders will be key to implementing solutions that align with operational needs.
· Your responsibilities will include managing the full lifecycle of digital solutions, from assessing technical feasibility and defining scalable architectures to overseeing vendor solutions and third-party integrations.
· Additionally, you will drive innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, while effectively managing risks and technical debt to maintain reliability and performance.
What you should know and be capable of:
· We are looking for a professional with a strong background in IT operations, business processes or digital solutions.
· A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is preferred.
· Experience in system implementation, software development, Agile methodologies or aviation operation is a plus.
· We value ownership, proactive problem-solving and collaboration.
· An interest or experience in aviation operations is beneficial.
