Strategic Partnerships Manager
Would you like to be a part of a Global Innovation team of a company revolutionizing the way food is processed? Marel is looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team. The Strategic Partnerships Manager supports Marel’s growth and key business initiatives by participating in and leading projects relating to some of Marel’s vital future partnerships. This role will offer exposure to strategic priorities across Marel’s business units and functions, in addition to contributing to the development Strategic Partnerships within the organization.
Main tasks:
- Analyzing partnership opportunities in support of strategic priorities, monitoring activity and tracking developments across Marel’s primary industries and markets
- Building relationships and partnerships across Marel’s primary industries and markets
- Preparing case analyses and presentations of partnership opportunities for internal decision makers
- Managing partnerships on an ongoing basis, including data-driven assessment of partnership performance and value
- Support in structuring and building best practices implementation and sharing of information on partnerships throughout the organization
Skills and Abilities:
- The position demands an impact-driven and business-minded person with strong problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills and abilities. Moreover, the individual needs to be ready to travel when necessary, and have the following skills and abilities:
- Team player with great interpersonal abilities, excellent networking and relationship building skills
- Experience in stakeholder management and effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Comprehensive business and financial understanding
- Highest integrity
Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in business, economics, engineering or relating fields
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-graduate experience in business development or managing strategic partnerships
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in an international work environment is a benefit
