QC Product Testing Scientist

The QC Product Testing Scientist actively participates in quality control and release of product manufactured at Alvotech. Performs routine analytical work with advanced analytical techniques. Creates and updates documents for methods and raw materials, reviews results of simple methods.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

University degree or equivalent in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, biotechnology or equivalent and/or sufficient relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector is preferred.

Attention to detail, thoroughness, and willingness to learn is a desired attribute.

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Documentation Rules is an asset.

Proficient English skills are a requirement (Icelandic is not required).

Ability to work with flexibility in a changing and demanding environment.

Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines and solving issues as they arrive with minimal supervision.

Performs routine analytical work with advanced analytical techniques

Informs about issues with analytical tasks.

Creates and updates documents for methods and raw materials

Knowledge about basic tasks in the labs and responsible for methods.

Reviews results of simple methods.

Trains simple tasks and methods.

Completes lab records according to GDP rules.

Actively involved in tasks that involve other departments in the company.

Proactively ensure the QC Analytical laboratory and equipment is at all times maintained in a state of Inspection readiness.

Quality Control product testing department is comprised of experienced and dedicated quality minded employees responsible for quality product testing at Alvotech.

The emphasis of the group is to provide quality data to support the state of the art manufacturing processes and disposition of the drug substance and drug product.The team is also responsible for establishing and maintaining all testing documents as well as taking an active role in maintaining a high level of quality within Alvotech.
