Operations & Logistics Specialist

The crucial role of the operations team is in ensuring the seamless planning and functioning of every itinerary. To achieve this, the team handles a wide range of tasks to support the efficiency of the trips.


Main tasks and responsibilities

• Timely planning of trip schedules and logistics.
• Securing and managing hotel bookings, activities, transfer services, and overall handling of all travel arrangements at all stages on assigned projects.
• Maintain efficient communication with suppliers, clients, and all team members throughout a trip.
• Responsible for emergency resolution, modifications and/or cancellation of activities.
• Participate in 24-hour support on a rotational basis through a dedicated customer care line, following a predetermined schedule.

Educational and skill requirements

Be passionate about travel and quality service.
•    Prior knowledge and experience in the travel industry is preferred.
•    Great organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. 
•    Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at any time.  
•    Adaptability is crucial, as this role involves a dynamic work environment and/or extended hours during peak travel periods. 
•    Ability to work under pressure.  
•    Candidates must reside in Iceland, be eligible to work in Iceland, and meet necessary requirements.
