Stór dekk og breyttir jeppar eru daglegt brauð hjá okkur og nú er mesti annatíminn. Starfið er líkamlega krefjandi, dekkin eru þung og það er nóg að gera — við leitum að manni sem er til í að taka törnina með okkur og getur hafið störf án fyrirvara.

Helstu verkefni

• Dekkjaskipti, umfelgun og þjónusta á dekkjum — frá hefðbundnum jeppadekkjum upp í sérsmíðuð risadekk

• Uppsetning aukahluta á bíla

• Almenn verkstæðisvinna

Hæfniskröfur

• Gott líkamlegt form — dekkin eru þung og starfið er líkamlega krefjandi

• Stundvísi og áreiðanleiki

• Geta til að vinna sjálfstætt og í teymi

• Íslenska og/eða góð enska

Kostur: reynsla af dekkjavinnu eða annarri verkstæðisvinnu.

Vinnutími og tímabil

Tímabundið starf yfir dekkjatörnina. Störf hefjast um leið og samkomulag næst. Dagvinna mánudaga–fimmtudaga 08:00–17:00 og föstudaga 08:00–15:30, með yfirvinnu á álagstímum.

Tire technician wanted — start NOW

Our busiest tire season is underway and we need someone immediately.

We need a worker straight away for the tire season. This is a temporary position.

Big tires and modified 4x4s are our daily business, and this is our busiest time of year. The work is physically demanding, the tires are heavy and there is plenty to do — we are looking for someone who is up for the season with us and can start without notice.

Main tasks

• Tire changes, mounting and tire service — from standard 4x4 tires up to custom-built oversize tires

• Fitting accessories to vehicles

• General workshop duties

Requirements

• Good physical condition — the tires are heavy and the work is physically demanding

• Punctuality and reliability

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Icelandic and/or good English

An advantage: experience with tire work or other workshop experience.

Hours and period

Temporary position for the tire season. Start as soon as agreed. Day shift Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–15:30, with overtime during peak periods.
