
Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen the connection between Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and our external manufacturing partners. In this role, you will take ownership of manufacturing-related issues, coordinate investigations, drive follow-up actions, and ensure that solutions are implemented in a structured, well-documented manner.
A strong focus will be on improving product quality, manufacturing reliability, and effective collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
The Medical Equipment team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of devices and accessories for the Nox Medical product line. The team also supports production test equipment, verification and validation activities, manufacturing, production engineering, quality, regulatory, and external manufacturing partners.
Function & Responsibilities:

Own and coordinate engineering follow-up when manufacturing escalates issues related to processes, quality, yield, test equipment, or products.

Communicate with subcontractors and manufacturing partners to clarify issues, align on corrective actions, and verify implementation.

Investigate manufacturing issues together with engineering, production engineering, quality, and supplier stakeholders.

Support maintenance and improvement of test fixtures and production test processes where they affect manufacturing performance or product quality.

Document findings, decisions, action items, implementation status, and verification results in a clear and traceable manner.

Help translate manufacturing feedback into practical engineering changes, process improvements, or supplier follow-up activities.

Support DMR-related fixes, design change activities, production transfers, and manufacturability improvements as needed.

Track open manufacturing support items, communicate priorities, and ensure stakeholders understand progress, risks, and next steps.
Qualification & Education Requirements:

Relevant engineering education or equivalent professional experience in manufacturing, production engineering, product development, quality, or a related technical field.

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple open issues, keep clear records, and follow through on actions.

Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturing partners.

Experience with manufacturing support and test fixtures

Understanding of regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) is a plus

Ability to understand technical product issues and translate them into clear actions for engineering, manufacturing, or suppliers.

Comfort working in a cross-functional environment where priorities may change and timely follow-up is important.

Experience with subcontractor communication, EMS/manufacturing partners, DFM, process controls, yield improvement, or production test processes is a plus.

Experience in medical devices, regulated manufacturing, CAPA, DMR/design documentation, or formal change control is a plus.
