

Line Cook - Gistihúsið Egilsstaðir Lake Hotel
We are searching for a line cook to join our team at Eldhúsið restaurant for the season, with a longer hire possibility.
Line cook is working closely with the sous chef on prepering food as demanded on day to day basis.
Housing can be a possibility if needed.

Gistihúsið – Lake Hotel Egilsstaðir restaurant is innovative and ambitious. Eldhúsið Restaurant offers Icelandic as well as international cuisine. The service is personal, cooking ingredients are fresh, local, and always of the very best quality for each season.
The restaurant seats up to 120 guests.
Our Eldhúsið – Restaurans kitchen’s mission is ambition and quality. As the hotel itself, its cuisine is rooted in solid tradition, but the ingredients are now introduced with subtle changes and serves its meals with a new perspective which results in memorable culinary experiences.
We value the quality of ingredients. Most of it is Icelandic and grown locally. We are proud of our Icelandic agriculture and want to introduce those nearest to us by applying their products
