The company currently operates in 21 countries. We conduct research on the behaviour and well-being of young people and advise on the implementation of evidence-based methods in prevention work. Results from our research are used mainly by people who work with children and teenagers, among policymakers and politicians, with the aim of improving the health and well-being of children and young people. The company is headquartered in Reykjavík, but staff are located around the world, including in Canada, Spain, and Mexico.

Data analyst and reporting specialist

Would you like to help improve youth wellbeing through data and analysis?
We're looking for a fast-learning, detail-oriented individual to join our analytics team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and managing data, and creating visually engaging reports and materials for our multiple partners around the world. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to internal development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

This is a temporary maternity leave position, with the potential to become permanent. The role is based at our office in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

A university degree that is useful to this line of work (e.g., data science, computer science, social science, mathematics, statistics)
Familiar with Python programming: pandas, python-pptx, and working with JSON files
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Experience working with and presenting data
Independent and precise working methods
Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and learning on the go
A solution-minded approach with the ability to prioritize and take initiative
Good English skills, both verbal and written
Experience in data management and analytics is an advantage
Knowledge of working with social science data is an advantage
Proficiency in Spanish, Icelandic, and/or French is an advantage
Knowledge of Canva is an advantage
