Engineering Intern

About the Role

Nox Medical, a global leader in sleep diagnostic technology, is seeking a hands-on and motivated Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team in Reykjavík.

As an integral part of our Systems team, you will contribute to the development and verification of products that impact lives worldwide. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in the design, prototyping, testing, and documentation of medical devices. You will work closely with experienced engineers and assist with the day-to-day activities involved in product development.

Responsibilities

• Supporting design verification by performing tests and documenting results under engineer's supervision.
• Assisting with prototyping, assembly, and hands-on bench testing of hardware and software components.
• Helping prepare test reports and documentation for the Design History File (DHF).
• Contributing to maintaining design documentation such as requirements, risk analyses, and test protocols.
• Assisting with writing or editing user manuals and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Interest in research and development
• Comfortable working under supervision and following structured processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools or test equipment is a plus.
