The company currently operates in 17 countries. We conduct research on the behaviour and well-being of young people and advise on the implementation of evidence-based methods in prevention work. Results from our research are used mainly by people who work with children and teenagers, among policymakers and politicians, with the aim of improving the health and well-being of children and young people. The company is headquartered in Reykjavík, but staff are located around the world, including in the United States, Mexico, and Spain.

Data analyst and reporting specialist

Are you good at transforming raw data into compelling visual stories using Python programming language? We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to play an important role in our analytics team. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and overseeing data and creating visually pleasing reports and material. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting internal development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

We are looking for a quick learner to fill a maternity leave position, with the potential for a permanent role. The position is at our office in Reykjavik, Iceland.

A university degree that is useful to this line of work
Experience in data management and analytics
Familiar with Python programming: pandas, python-pptx, and working with JSON files
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Experience working with and presenting data
Independent and precise working methods
Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and learning on the go
A solution-minded approach with the ability to prioritize and take initiative
Good English skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Spanish, Icelandic, and/or French is an advantage
Knowledge of Canva is an advantage
