Automation Engineer

CCP Games is looking for an Automation Engineer to build workflows, integrations, and solutions using Workato, Jira, and APIs to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

In this role you will work with departments and teams across the company to understand their operational needs and facilitate design and implementation of IT solutions to best serve those needs in an efficient and aligned manner.

Your Tasks:

• Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using Workato and Atlassian tools.
• Administer, optimize, and maintain Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to support automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from across CCP to identify automation opportunities and improve processes.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance APIs to enable seamless integration and automation across systems.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues related to automation workflows and integrations.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future scalability.
• Stay current with trends and advancements in automation technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Workato and Atlassian tooling.
• Comfortable analyzing and understanding processes across diverse teams and departments.
• Familiarity with other automation platforms and approaches is a plus.
• Solid administrative experience with Atlassian tools is highly valued.
• Background in API design and development, ideally from previous development roles, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
