This stylish luxury hotel, Corinthia St. George’s Bay is seeking to recruit an ambitious, determined, and highly motivated individual who is seeking a challenging opportunity to advance his/her carer within the accounts department.

Have a degree or in the process of achieving a degree in business management with specialization in Accountancy or ACCA qualification or a number of years experience in the accounting department (preferably 4-5 star);

Have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of systems such Opera, Sun, Materials Control, and Micros POS systems will be considered an asset;

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Knowledge of local legislation related to finance, taxation and employment;

Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

Be accurate and detail-oriented.

Preparing and posting all journals;

Preparing all month-end accruals and prepayments and any other General Ledger Journals in line with the month-end closing;

Assisting Accounts Receivable, Credit Controller, and General Cashier ;

Reconciling the Balance Sheet and bank accounts monthly;

Preparing statutory Returns including VAT;

Assisting in the budget preparation, yearend, forecasts, cash flows, and monthly/weekly departmental meetings;

Ensuring that full co-operation is provided to external auditors;
