Robot maintenance technician
Newrest Iceland is looking for a naturally curious and rigorous individual who is methodical in his/her work and ability to adapt to succeed in the missions entrusted to.
As part of our operational team that manages the plant at Keflavík airport, Iceland, the robot maintenance technician will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the machines in place on the production site.
As part of our operational team that manages the plant, the robot maintenance technician will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the machines in place on the production site:
- Robotic Pick and Pack Line
- Robotic Tray Set Up Line
- Industrial kitchen equipment (ovens, diving tunnels etc.)
- Material Handling Equipment
- Networks
The robot maintenance technician will be the guaramtor of compliance with the maintenance plan and the proper functioning of the equipment.The robot maintenance technician will be required to make occasional trips out of Iceland for training and to Reykjavik city to maintain our automated production tools (conveyors, destackers, industrial robots, etc.).
- Participate in the definition, implementation in our CMMS tool and improvement of the preventive and corrective maintenance plan for equipment within the unit.
- Be responsible for curative maintenance on all the installations: carrying out the diagnosis, defining the action plan, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring the implementation and feedback.
- Be in charge of the proper execution and monitoring of preventive maintenance operations: Planning, follow-up of stakeholders, execution report in our CMMS tool.
- Will contribute to the installation of new equipment on the production site (preparation, energy fittings, etc.)
- In conjunction with the industrialization and operational teams, the robot maintenance technician will participate in the continuous improvement of the facilities and propose avenues for improvement (process, mechanical, ergonomic, etc.)
- Will be responsible for the maintenance tool store: monitoring the stock of spare parts and (re)stocking of maintenance parts, products and tools.
- Will support production operators in the handling and use of the facilities, in particular level 0 maintenance operations.
- Graduate of a BTS/DUT training in industrial maintenance (MAI, MSP), Professional License (DUT) or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position (a first experience in the agri-food sector would be ideal).
- Knowledge of how to read electrical and mechanical plans.
- Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and/or robotics.
- Adaptability and flexibility required for the position.
