Newrest - Lager/Supply
We are looking for a Warehouse Agent that is responsible for all day-to-day warehouse / inventory / logistics activities in the unit.
Warehouse Agents tasks are to unload deliveries and organize stock in the warehouse, maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulation, operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and deliver items to internal Departments with efficiently and constantly focus on warehouse data reliability and capital expenditure and the strategic goals of Newrest.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse/logistics consolidation,
- Rotate product as appropriate First Expired – First Out, provide designated items to appropriate department,
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion,
- Conduct inbound / outbound processes of new merchandise in accordance with guidelines and follow all prescribed procedures, ability to understand specificities for each airline,
- This role will include the physical and administrative handling of merchandise
- Take appropriate action to identify, label, store, sort, dispose merchandise as instructed,
- Inform Warehouse Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns
- Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure adherence to procedural and policy requirements
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by Supervisor or Management,
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift items
- Driving license
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in this role or a similar role
- Good knowledge of warehouse system
Skills:
- Attention to details
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to do accurate forecasting
- Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
- Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
Competencies:
- Meet deadlines
- Good level of English, both oral and in writing
- Knowledge of HACCP
