Technical Support

Mission

Assisting in providing technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Provide first-level support for IT-related inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain and update documentation for IT procedures, systems, and user manuals.
  • Help set up and configure new hardware and software
  • Collaborate with the IT Officer to implement and support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Other incidental tasks

Education and general experience/status

  • Experience in similar jobs is necessary
  • University degree is preferred and/or proven record from similar roles
  • Knowledge in SAP is a plus
  • Customer Service
  • English and Icelandic language necessary
  • Residency near Keflavik Airport is necessary
  • Clean criminal record is mandatory

  • Network technologies LAN/WAN
  • Computer hardware, pc’s, tablets and mobile devices
