Seasonal Staff Wanted | West Rangá Lodge

Dates: August – September 2026

Location: West Rangá Lodge, Iceland

West Rangá is one of Iceland’s premier salmon fishing lodges, welcoming guests from around the globe. We are looking for two motivated, team-oriented staff members to join us for the rest of the season.

Open Positions

1. Housekeeping

Clean and prepare guest rooms to high standards (previous hotel experience required).
Maintain lodge common areas and guest facilities.

2. Evening Waiter & Lodge Service

Dinner Service: Deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and high-quality service during evening meals.
Lodge Upkeep: Assist with light lodge cleaning, setup, and general presentation.
Requirements: Previous fine-dining or quality restaurant experience, fast-paced work ethic, strong serving knowledge, and a flexible, all-hands-on-deck attitude.

Responsibilities

Providing warm, professional service to ensure guests have an excellent stay
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming lodge environment at all times
Taking initiative and helping where needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Working closely with colleagues and supporting each other as a team
Contributing to a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff
Being professional, reliable, hardworking, and kind in all interactions with guests and colleagues
Helping ensure that every guest leaves with a memorable and enjoyable experience

Applicant Requirements

Previous Experience: Required in hotel housekeeping or fine/quality restaurant service.
Must be over 22 years old
Legal Status: Valid EU/EEA passport (eligible to work in Iceland).
References: Contact details for at least 2 previous supervisors or employers.
Work Ethic: Fast-paced, adaptable, proactive, and positive mindset.
