Sales & Travel Agent

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Sales & Travel Agents to join our store team. In this role, you'll be the face of our company—helping travelers plan unforgettable trips in Iceland and across Europe while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will work in rotating shifts, with some starting as early as 8:00 AM and others finishing as late as 8:00 PM. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who know Iceland and Europe well, thrive in sales, and enjoy creating tailor-made travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and online leads.

• Provide expert advice on destinations, tours, and activities in Iceland and Europe.

• Match travelers with the best experiences based on their interests and budget.

• Drive sales through upselling and cross-selling tours, activities, souvenirs, vacation packages, and travel services.

• Process bookings accurately and efficiently using our booking systems.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Icelandic and European travel trends, attractions, and seasonal highlights.

• Resolve customer questions and issues with professionalism and care.

• Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of travel in Iceland and Europe – including nature, culture, and popular attractions.

• Proven sales experience (preferably in travel, tourism, and retail).

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages ​​(especially Icelandic, German, French, Spanish, or Chinese) are an advantage.

• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping travelers.

• Ability to work shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including weekends.

• Comfortable using booking and sales software.
