Are you highly organized, people-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Coordinator to join our HR team and take care of the recruitment and onboarding process for our operations at Keflavík International Airport at our office in Ásbrú, Reykjanesbær.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing recruitment to the first day on the job. Working closely with our Operations team, you will ensure we have the right people in place at the right time while delivering a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organizational skills, and can confidently manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and conduct interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare employment contracts and all required hiring documentation.
- Manage application process for necessary certificates and other necessary training
- Register new employees in internal HR systems.
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding for new employees, including company introductions, presentations, and training sessions as needed.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure staffing needs.
- Plan and coordinate large-scale seasonal recruitment.
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Continuously contribute to improving recruitment and onboarding processes.

- Professional and service-oriented approach.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken. Icelandic is an advantage.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, administration, or a similar role is considered an advantage.
- Clean Criminal record
