R&D Technician

Alvotech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research and Development (R&D) Technician to support our innovative R&D team. As an R&D Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our R&D operations. You’ll be part of the lab management team, ensuring that our R&D departments run smoothly by managing key supporting activities.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Preparation of media and buffers for R&D programs.
Inventory management.
Equipment management.
Routine equipment calibrations, i.e. daily, weekly or monthly regular checks.
Laboratory ware management.
Take responsibility for the upkeep of common R&D areas.
Additional support across various R&D functions as needed.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

A bachelor’s or a technical degree is desirable but not a requirement. (New graduates are encouraged to apply).
No prior experience is required, though any previous laboratory experience is a plus.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive mindset.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
