Part Time Wine Enthusiasts/Bartenders and Chefs

We are looking for passionate individuals with knowledge of Bar & Wine or experience as Chefs to join our team in an exciting new venue in town! Our concept is unique, and we seek team members who can match our vision and energy.

For Bar & Wine Staff:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and beverages according to the venue’s standards
  • Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and engaging attitude
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and restocking as needed
  • Educate customers on wine pairings and cocktail selections
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service

For Chefs:

  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Plan and execute menu items with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering ingredients, and minimizing food waste
  • Collaborate with team members to create seasonal or special menus
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency

Who We Are Looking For:

We value cheerful, warm individuals who embrace Mediterranean cuisine and culture. While formal education is not a requirement, passion and willingness to learn are essential.

Requirements:

  • Must have Icelandic Kennitala (Full rights to work in Iceland)

  • Commitment to stay in Iceland for at least one year

  • Fluent in English (Icelandic language skills are a plus)

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of cocktails and wine

  • For chefs:

    • Proven experience in running a kitchen

    • Strong knowledge of HACCP standards

    • Ability to manage and maintain food quality and safety

Preferred Qualities:

  • Enthusiasm for learning about wines and spirits

  • A warm and approachable personality

  • Experience in Mediterranean cuisine is highly valuable
