Operations Projects Manager

Borealis Data Center is seeking a highly organized and execution-oriented Operations Project Manager.

The Operations Project Manager plays a key role in driving and delivering operational initiatives across the company’s global data center platform. Acting as an execution arm of the COO, the role is responsible for driving initiatives forward, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring projects, tasks, and operational priorities are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires strong project management capabilities, structured thinking, and the ability to translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes. Combining project execution, performance tracking, stakeholder management, and operational reporting responsibilities, the Operations Project Manager supports effective decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives
  • Define scope, timelines, governance and success criteria
  • Drive progress, remove blockers and ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Operate with high ownership and take a hands-on approach to execution, actively driving tasks forward and contributing directly where needed
  • Capture lessons learned and improve delivery practices

Performance & Reporting

  • Define project KPIs and track progress, risks and outcomes
  • Provide clear, structured reporting to COO and leadership
  • Ensure transparency on timelines, costs and delivery
  • Business case / Problem statement ownership

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate across Operations, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Commercial teams
  • Drive alignment, accountability, and decision-making

Deliverables

  • Business cases and project charters
  • Project plans, KPI dashboards, and status reports
  • Risk and issue logs
  • Financial tracking (costs, savings, ROI)
  • Steering materials and post-project reviews

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10+ years’ experience in project management & execution or operations
  • Ability to deliver cross-functional initiatives in an international environment
  • Financial and analytical skills (business cases, KPIs, value tracking) are a plus
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure, or asset-heavy industries is a plus
