Hótel Dyrhólaey is looking for a bartender

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and more.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Keep up-to-date with beverage trends, offering innovative and exciting drink options.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking, and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle payments and operate the POS system.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a hospitality or similar setting.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and contemporary trends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in bartending (preferred but not required).
• A passion for hospitality and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
